Sopore, July 8: Aries Agro Limited, a leading agricultural solutions provider, and Art in Life Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting sustainable practices, joined hands to organize a groundbreaking day-long programme on Technology Adoption For Sustainable Agriculture in Sopore, located in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

The event took place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Fruit Mandi Sopore, and witnessed the introduction of drone technology for pesticide spraying and a revolutionary soil testing device.

The programme aimed to address the challenges faced by farmers and promote the adoption of advanced technologies in agriculture for enhanced productivity and sustainability. Sopore, known as the apple town of Kashmir, has a rich agricultural heritage, and this event showcased cutting-edge solutions tailored specifically to the region’s needs.

One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of drone technology for pesticide spraying. Drones have emerged as a game-changer in the field of agriculture, offering precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The demonstration showcased how drones can assist farmers in achieving targeted pesticide application, reducing wastage, and minimizing environmental impact.
